The contact linked the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 04V114000 (Equipment). The local dealer was not contacted. The RV was not diagnosed or repaired. The RV was taken to an independent mechanic, who determined that there was a crack in the propane tank at the weld joints. The manufacturer was contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 80,600.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 8,300.
