2024 Jeep Wrangler 4XE

While driving home from Cincinnati to Chicago, approximately 15 miles from my final destination at a stop light, the engine shut down and flashed “service charging system”. I was unable to restart the vehicle. I was stuck in the middle of the road - unable to move. Had to be towed. Currently sitting at the dealership. Told that it has something to do with a faulty power inverter.

On the 2nd and 4th day of owning the vehicle the engine stalled while stopped I'm traffic at a red light. Both times the dash flashed "service transmission" and then instructed me to place the vehicle in "park". Once in park the dash instructed me to push the "start/stop" button but nothing would happen. I was stuck for a few minutes each time in traffic until the whole system finally powered down and I was able to restart. I brought it to the dealer the evening of the second engine stall and the Jeep was there for over a month waiting for a new transmission. They replaced the transmission even though this was a brand new vehicle out of the factory with serious safety issues and should have never been sold in the first place. There are many people on the Wrangler 4xe forums with the same issue please issue recalls! People are at risk of injury or death!

I leased a 2024 Jeep Wrangler since day 1 I have been having problems with the stereo system where it shuts off and on the whole drive. The screen goes black when I'm backing up the car and I find this dangerous because I almost hit a person while backing. I don't have control on the temperature because the screen is black so my windows would get foggy and the during the summer the Aircon doesn't work and during the winter the heat doesn't work. When my phone is connected to the car play and I'm using the navigation sysmtem it would shut of again and again to the point where im lost and almost ended up the the wrong way on the road, and also while driving the screen would turn on and show my backup camera while I'm on the highway. I have taken this car multiple times to the dealer service department and was told that its a software issues. it is now almost a year and nothing has been done about it. the car is a lease for 3 years and i'm paying $720 dollars per month for a car that I feel is not safe for me to drive. Please help me get a solution, I don't know who else I can contact in regards to this. I have a lot of videos that can attest to this problem.

I recently purchased a NEW 2024 jeep wrangler 4xe. Within the first week of ownership, the car broke down twice and was unable to be driven during a trip. The car started fine and was able to be driven at first, but twice, while stopped at a traffic light, it was unable to start again. The car needed to be towed to the local dealership on both occasions. This caused significant traffic hazards on both occasions. During the first service trip to the dealer, I was told that software needed to be updated, but on the second visit, I was told that the entire transmission needed to be replaced. I see online that others have complained of the same exact issue that I experienced [XXX] ) There were no warning lights or lamps on prior to the vehicle breaking down but after the incident on both occasions there was a "service transmission" message. 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4XE. This is the second I bringing my wrangler to the dealership repair center within 30 day. first time they have replace new battery , I thought the problem had solved, and the same problem happened again. I drove to other state after one hour , dashboard cluster appeared red turtle and the Adaptive cruise control and engine warning light popped up. driving speed gradually drain to 2 mph. and I heard loud fan noise run at high speed, I have to wait 10 minute until the fan noise gone ,than I can continue to drive, luckily I can made it back home, second day I drive to the dealership , after 15 minutes driving the red turtle popped up again while I am driving on the highway. lost power again I then exit the highway , and wait until the the fan noise goes away, then I start the engine , the fan loud noise comes again, I shutoff the engine and waited again, I kept doing this 40 minutes , it still don't work I have to give up and called a tow truck to towed the 4xe wrangler to the dealership. repair time uncertain.

I stopped at a stop light and the car shut down and an error display to "service Transmission" and the gear shift would not move. A few seconds later the error changed to “Park Brake Auto Engaged Press Brake + Push Switch to Release” I did this several times. After about 10 minutes the vehicle started with a service error message stil on the dash.

Just leaving the parking garage after work, I was exiting and the my jeep wrangler just turned off. Light flashed service transmission and shift vehicle park. Once I shifted the vehicle to park and tried to start nothing happened. After about 5 mins and blocking all traffic trying to leave the parking garage my jeep started. Not sure what’s up but if this happens at freeway speed it could be dangerous.

1. This vehicle has shut itself off three separate times since Tuesday, 29 January. This happens when using the "E-save" system;i.e. mainly the gasoline engine and the engine has not yet reached full operating temperature. It has happened only while stopped at a traffic light. I will contact my dealership Monday, 5 February. The vehicle is available for inspection. 2. Being stopped at a traffic light with a stalled vehicle immediately irritates the drivers behind or worse a driver approaching from behind with a green light. I could be rear ended. 3. I'm contacting the dealership Monday, 5 February. 4.No. 5.The "Service transmission" alert annunciates. All other normal indicators are still showing the radio continues to play, the turn signals function, etc. 6.The transmission must be placed into Park and the ignition switch shut off. At that time, a normal restart can be performed and the vehicle will continue. 6. The vehicle will restart
