The contact owns a 2019 Ford Escape. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle lost motive power and stalled with several warning lights illuminated. Due to the failure, the vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was discovered that an electrical spike had burned out several electrical sensors. The dealer replaced the alternator to correct the failure; however, the failure returned nearly a week after the repair. The vehicle was towed back to the dealer where a short in the electrical wiring harness was found. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle remained in the possession of the dealer unrepaired. The failure mileage was 59,512.
My left side door. The door is making a popping/cracking noise the window won’t go down because the welding broke off

The contact owns a 2015 Ford Escape. The contact stated that upon starting the vehicle, the instrument panel was blank. Over several days, the instrument panel screen returned; however, the panel intermittently went blank while driving without warning. Upon investigation, the contact discovered NHTSA Campaign Number: 15V406000 (Electrical System) which was linked to the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the vehicle was not included in the recall. The contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000.

The bolts broke off on the inside.I had no prior warning, I went to open my door and a huge clunk sound happened and it was difficult to open , there was friction ,opening it all the way is causing friction and I don’t want the door to fall off. Also it’s causing the automatic window not to work now , that only is opening half way . I took it to the dealer to assess the problem and it’s the left door asy , I looked this up online and it’s stating Ford is aware of this problem but still hasn’t issued a recall. I do not want my door to fall off , especially if I’m driving and this happened . This is also a huge financial burden on anyone , please can you help with this situation . Thank you
Drivers side Front door pops when you open or close it drivers side window won’t let down all the way lift gate doesn’t work most of the time but the most scary issue is riding down the road radio screen will read turn engine on or shut off to save battery this car is only 3 years old I shouldn’t have these kind of issues

As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 101, "Control and Displays" and 102, "Transmission shift lever sequence, starter interlock, and transmission braking effect" as well as FMVSS numbers 126, 108, 135, 138, 208, and 305.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: An instrument panel display that fails to show critical safety information, such as the speedometer or warning lights, increases the risk of a crash.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2020-2024 Ford Escape, and 2021-2024 Lincoln Corsair vehicles. A manufacturing defect in one or more of the high voltage battery cells may result in an internal short circuit and battery failure.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: Battery failure can cause a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash. Battery failure can also increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Owners are advised not to charge battery till the remedy has been completed. Dealers will perform a battery energy control module (BECM) software update, and replace the high voltage battery pack, as necessary, free of charge. Consequence: The incorrect signals could cause the vehicle to hesitate or the engine to stall, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Ford will notify owners, and dealers will replace the current crimped splices with new splices, free of charge. The recall began in October 2014. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-800-392-3673. Ford's number for this recall is 14S17.
