26V463000 · Equipment:mechanical:boom/crane/ladder:critical Fasteners

Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2024-2026 AT Series vehicles. The turntable rotation bearing fasteners may not have been heat treated properly.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: A fastener that has not been heat treated could fail, resulting in separation of the pedestal and turntable, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy: Altec will instruct owners to inspect the lot number on the fasteners and, if necessary, order a rotation bolt kit to replace the fasteners, or schedule service with Altec, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 11, 2026. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3347.

26V386000 · Power Train:automatic Transmission:park/neutral Start Interlock Switch

Altec industries, Inc. is recalling certain 2014-2026 AT Series Aerial Device vehicles. The transmission park interlock may be missing, allowing the aerial device to operate while the chassis is not in park.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: An aerial device that operates while the vehicle is in gear or neutral can cause unexpected vehicle movement and increase the risk of injury.

Remedy: Altec will update the electrical harness and control modules, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 7, 2026. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3331.
