Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A fastener that has not been heat treated could fail, resulting in separation of the pedestal and turntable, increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy: Altec will instruct owners to inspect the lot number on the fasteners and, if necessary, order a rotation bolt kit to replace the fasteners, or schedule service with Altec, free of charge. The ground level emergency stop (E-stop) may not stop hydraulic functions of the machine when the machine is in ePTO mode.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: Hydraulic functions that do not immediately stop when the ground level E-stop is pressed, increase the risk of injury.
Remedy: Altec will inspect the units and test to verify the E-stop function. If the wiring is found to be incorrect, it will be updated, free of charge. The Power Distribution Module (PDM 10) circuit may experience a voltage spike, which can damage the Transfer Case Control Module (TCCM) and disrupt chassis functions, including the PTO switch, rearview mirror, or rearview camera.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A damaged TCCM and disrupted chassis functions can result in a loss of handling and control or brake performance, increasing the risk of a crash.
