HELLO, MY NAME IS [XXX] AND I LIVE IN ROMANIA. I OWN A YAMAHA FZ6S MADE IN 2004, VIN [XXX], 72 KW. ON THE 2010/07/24 I HAD A CRASH BECAUSE THE ENGINE OG THE BIKE STALLED WHILE I WAS DRIVING IT. I HAD NO MAJOR WOUND, BUT I SCRATCHED THE BIKE. LOOKIN OVER THE INTERNET TO SEE WHAT HAPPENED, I HAVE DISCOVERED THE TPS PROBLEM (NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 06V371000) AND THE SERVICE RECALL BULLETIN FROM YAMAHA MOTOR CORP. I WENT TO THE YAMAHA DEALER IN BUCHAREST, THEY HAVE CHECKED THE BIKE AND THEY ADMITTED THAT THE TAPS SENSOR IS FAULTY. BUT THE SURPRISE COMES NOW: THEY REFUSE THE CHANGE THE PART (WHICH WAS NEVER CHANGED, BY THE WAY), UNLESS I PAY FOR IT. I AM REALLY FRUSTRATED ABOUT THIS. I WAS TRYING TO GET AN OFFICIAL YAMAHA EMAIL TO WRITE ABOUT THIS ISSUE, BUT UNFORTUNATELY I WAS NOT ABLE TO FIND SUCH AN EMAIL ADDRESS ON THE OFFICIAL YAMAHA WEBSITE, SO I AM WRITING TO YOU, MAYBE YOU CAN HELP ME WITH SOME CONTACTS (EMAIL OR PHONE) OF YAMAHA MOTOR CORP. (HEADQUARTERS OF USA AND/OR EUROPE) IN ORDER TO WRITE TO THEM OR CALL THEM TO SEE IF THIS IS THE WAY THEY TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS. YOU CAN FIND ME AT: [XXX]THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR HELP! [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6). *TR
