VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: CLASS 8 HEAVY DUTY TRUCKS. THE AIR SUSPENSION CONTROL VALVE SUPPLY LINE WAS NOT PLUMBED THROUGH AN AIR PRESSURE PROTECTION VALVE. IN THE EVENT OF A FAILURE, THERE WOULD BE LOSS OF AIR PRESSURE IN THE 'B' SYSTEM AIR RESERVOIR THAT SUPPLIES AIR PRESSURE FOR THE FRONT STEER AXLE BRAKES.
Consequence & remedy Consequence: THIS CONDITION WOULD RESULT IN INCREASED STOPPING DISTANCES.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL INSTALL THE NECESSARY AIR PRESSURE PROTECTION VALVE.

THE HOOK-UP FOR THE BRAKE FOOT PEDAL FOR THE DRIVER ASSISTANT ON THE CURB SIDE MAY NOT BE CORRECTLY INSTALLED.
Consequence & remedy Consequence: A SERVICE LINE FAILURE IN THE "A" OR "B" SYSTEM AIRSUPPLY COULD RESULT IN LOSS OF OPERATION OF THE BRAKE PEDAL FOR THE DRIVERASSISTANT.
Remedy: REPAIR PLUMBING HOOK-UP TO THE ASSISTANTS OPERATING STATION FOOT WCONTROLLED BRAKE VALVE.

THE BLADE(S) MAY SEPARATE FROM THE ENGINE COOLING FAN ASSEMBLY.
Consequence & remedy Consequence: BLADES SEPARATING FROM THE FAN ASSEMBLY COULD PRESENT ASAFETY HAZARD TO ANYONE WALKING IN THE VICINITY OF THE ENGINE.
Remedy: REMOVE AND REPLACE SUSPECT FAN ASSEMBLY.
