2 CARLISLE TRAILER TIRES BLEW OUT A MONTH APPART AND ONE CAUSED DAMAGE TO OUR NEW 36' 5TH WHEEL RV. WE BELIEVE THESE 16" TIRES TO BE DEFECTIVE AND A SERIOUS HAZARD WHEN TOWING A 5TH WHEEL OR TRAILER, AS THIS IS THE SECOND RV WE HAD WITH CARLISLE TIRES THAT HAD TREAD SEPARATION FOR NO REASON. WE LOST ALL 4 TIRES ON OUR PREVIOUS 2000 25' WANDERER WAGON TRAVEL TRAILER IN THE FIRST YEAR; SO FAR WE HAVE LOST TWO ON THE 2004 36' 5TH WHEEL RV. PROPER INFLATION WAS ASSURED PRIOR TO TRAVEL AND TEMP WAS ONLY ABOUT 40 DEGREES OUTSIDE OF HAVASU, AZ. THE STEEL BELTS WRAPPED AROUND THE AXLE AND THE RUBBER TORE UP THE SIDE OF THE TRAILER, DAMAGE WAS $1,295.00. A MONTH LATER THE SECOND TIRE PEELED OFF IN THE SAME WAY BUT CAUSED NO DAMAGE, BUT MUCH INCONVENIENCE, AS IT WAS IN A BAD PLACE TO CHANGE IT, ON A MAJOR FREEWAY SHOULDER OF I-15 NEAR MESQUITE, NV. *AK
