I CAME TO A STOP IN HEAVY INTERSTATE TRAFFIC (35E NORTH IN ST. PAUL). JUST AS THE CAR WAS ALMOST STOPPED, IT REVVED-UP/SURGED FORWARD. I WAS AFRAID THAT THE BRAKE WOULD NOT HOLD AND WE WOULD HIT THE CAR IN FRONT OF US. THREE YOUNG GIRLS WERE IN THE CAR WITH ME. THE CAR HAS BEEN CLUNKING INTO GEAR AT LOW SPEEDS LATELY, HESITA…

I CAME TO A STOP IN HEAVY INTERSTATE TRAFFIC (35E NORTH IN ST. PAUL). JUST AS THE CAR WAS ALMOST STOPPED, IT REVVED-UP/SURGED FORWARD. I WAS AFRAID THAT THE BRAKE WOULD NOT HOLD AND WE WOULD HIT THE CAR IN FRONT OF US. THREE YOUNG GIRLS WERE IN THE CAR WITH ME. THE CAR HAS BEEN CLUNKING INTO GEAR AT LOW SPEEDS LATELY, HESITATING FROM A COLD START, ALMOST CUTTING OUT WHEN IDLING AT STOP LIGHTS AND THEN REVVING UP ONLY TO START THE CYCLE OVER AGAIN. NONE OF THIS HAPPENS AT HIGHER SPEEDS. ALSO TODAY, WHEN I PUT IT INTO DRIVE, IT SURGED FORWARD IMMEDIATELY AND I HAD TO PUSH MY FOOT VERY HARD ON THE BRAKE. I AM SCARED OF THIS CAR. I ALREADY REPLACED THE TRANSMISSION AT 86,000 MILES. NOW THE SECOND TRANSMISSION ONLY HAS 52,000 MILES ON IT. THIS IS A FATALITY WAITING TO HAPPEN. THIS TRANSMISSION IS CRIMINAL. *JB
