Turtle Top is recalling certain 2026 Terra Ford Transit buses. The electrical contactor may fail, preventing the controls from stopping the lift.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A wheelchair lift that continues to move while occupied increases the risk of injury.
Remedy: The remedy is currently under development. The manufacturer has not yet provided a schedule for recall notification. Owners may contact Turtle Top customer service at 1-800-296-2105.
Turtle Top is recalling certain 2026 Terra Transit and Odyssey transit buses. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: An unsecured wheelchair can move during transit, increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the retractors as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 29, 2026. Owners may contact Turtle Top customer service at 1-800-296-2105.
