WHEN THE VEHICLE CAME TO A FINAL REST, THEN IS WHEN MY SEAT BELT POPPED (UNLATCHED). I DID NOT INJURY MY BODY. HOWEVER, I DO NOT FEEL CONFORTABLE KNOWING THAT MY B…

THE WRONG SAFETY BELT LATCH TONGUE PLATE WAS INSTALLED IN SOME SAFETY BELT ASSEMBLIES.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: THE SAFETY BELT WILL NOT LATCH CORRECTLY, CAUSING THERESTRAINT SYSTEM TO FAIL; THE OCCUPANT WILL BE EXPOSED TO INCREASED RISK OFINJURY IN A SUDDEN STOP OR CRASH IF FAILURE OCCURS.

Remedy: REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE SAFETY BELT ASSEMBLIES.
