MIDDLE LEAF OF A THREE LEAF SPRING BROKE AFT OF THE CENTER SHACKLE.
BOTH REAR LEAF SPRINGS WERE BROKEN. THIS SEEMS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THIS MODEL VEHICLE.
VEHICLE'S LEFT SPRING ON REAR AXLE BROKE UNDER NORMAL DRIVING CONDTIONS. TOYOTA DOES NOT ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM.
THE REAR SUSPENSION SPRINGS WENT OUT, CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO BE UNSTABLE, WHILE DRIVING AROUND A CORNER. PLEASE PROVIDE DETAILS. *AK

Consequence: THIS CONDITION CAN RESULT IN A NO-START CONDITION, OR A BATTERY EXPLOSION.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE DEFECTIVE BATTERIES.
