MACK TRUCK CAMPAIGN NO SCO #77.TRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH ROCKWELL INTERNATIONALFRONT DRIVE AXLE FDS-1807 SERIES UNIVERSAL.POSSIBILITY THAT A MATERIAL DEFECTEXISTS IN THE BEARING CAPS OF THE CARDAN JOINT ASSEMBLY AT WHEEL ENDS OF AXLEASSEMBLY.THIS CONDITION COULD CAUSE FAILURE OF THE CARDAN JOINT AND RESULT INLOSS OF STEERING CONTROL WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING TO DRIVER, WITH POSSIBLE VEHICLECRASH.(CORRECT BY INSPECTING AND REPLACING CARDAN JOINTS).HEAVY TRUCK.
