TRUCK TRAILER CAMPAIGN NO N/A.TRAILER.1-1 1960 THRU 7-31 1962.POSSIBILITYTHAT INDUCTION HARDENING PROCESS IN EFECT AT NORTH AMERICAN ROCKWELL'S AXLEPLANT MAY HAVE CREATED HIGH REDIDUAL STRESSES AT INNER BEARING SHOULDER AREA.STRESSES MAY TURN INTO PHYSICAL CRACKS UNDER EXTENDED FIELD SERVICE.CONTINUEDUSE OF AXLE AFTER CRACKING HAS OCCURRED MAY CAUSE AXLE SPINDLE TO FRACTURE.(CORRECT BY INSPECTING AND REPLACING AXLE WHERE NECESSARY.)
