Summary
ON CERTAIN MOTOR HOMES THE BATTERY CABLE MAY HAVE BEEN ROUTED TOO CLOSE TO THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD.
Consequence
THIS COULD CAUSE THE CABLE TO MELT, CREATING AN ELECTRICAL SHORT, WHICH COULD RESULT IN A FIRE.
Remedy
DEALERS WILL INSPECT AND REROUTE AND/OR REPLACE THE BATTERY CABLE FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON FEBRUARY 28, 2005. OWNERS MAY CONTACT JAYCO AT 574-825-5861.
