Summary
VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: CLASS A HEAVY DUTY TRUCKS WITH 18,000 LB. FRONT AXLES MAY HAVE FRONT SPRINGS INSTALLED THAT ARE RATED FOR THE 14,600 LB. FRONT AXLE.
Consequence
FRONT SPRING FAILURE COULD RESULT IN LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL.
Remedy
DEALERS WILL REPLACE BOTH SPRINGS. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN DECEMBER 26, 2001. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT MACK AT 1-610-709-3011.
