Feb 19, 2026

Prevost Car (US) Inc. (Prevost) is recalling certain 2026 H3-45 and H3-45 VIP vehicles equipped with aftermarket exterior driver side mirrors. The mirror exhibits excessive play and may detach.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: A detached mirror can reduce the driver's visibility and become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Prevost will inspect and replace the mirror as necessary, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters explaining the safety risk were mailed by March 10, 2026. Owners will receive another notice once remedy becomes available. Owners may contact Prevost's customer service at 1-866-870-2046. Prevost's number for this recall is SR26-03. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning February 27, 2026.
