THE PIAGGIO FLY 150 SCOOTER HAS A DESIGN FLAW. THE RUBBER BUFFER THAT SEPARATES THE CENTER STAND FROM THE ENGINE CASE IN THE UP POSITION IS TOO BIG. THIS CAUSE THE CENTER STAND TO SCRAPE/HIT THE GROUND WHEN CORNERING OR TRAVELLING OVER CURBS. WHEN THE CENTER STAND STRIKES THE GROUND, THE PIVOTING EFFECT COULD BE ENOUGH TO CAUSE THE REAR WHEEL TO LOSE FIRM CONTACT WITH THE PAVEMENT. THERE ARE MULTIPLE INTERNET FORUM ENTRIES BY OWNERS OF THIS SCOOTER THAT REFER TO THIS PROBLEM. MOST OF THE FORUM ENTRIES DISCUSS THE OWNERS OF THE SCOOTERS REMOVING THE RUBBER AND CUTTING DOWN TO A SMALL SIZE WITH HACKSAWS OR RASPS. THE SOLUTION IS FOR PIAGGIO TO REFIT THE SCOOTERS WITH A SMALLER PIECE OF RUBBER. I HAVE TRIED TO CONTACT PIAGGIO CUSTOMER SERVICE MANY TIMES WITH EMAILS, HOWEVER THEY HAVE NOT EVEN ACKNOWLEDGED RECEIVING MY EMAILS. *TR
