Radio comes on by itself. Car is not on. Took it to my Nissan Dealership May 17, 2021. Nothing was found. Also contacted Nissan directly on May 19, 2021, was told nothing could be done at this time because nothing showed up. I’m not a engineer but I know something is wrong, your radio don’t come on by itself when the car is off.

THE CONTACT DID NOT SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION OR HAD ANY INJURIES. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO DRIVE TO HER DESTINATION. THE CONTACT SHORTLY AFTER SHE RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 21V135000 (EXTERIOR LIGHTING) HOWEVER, THE PART TO DO THE RECALL REPAIR WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. A DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN INFORMED OF FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 3,200. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.

I RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF A STOP LAMP SWITCH RECALL FROM NISSAN AND MADE AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE LOCAL DEALER, WHO IS UNABLE TO GET THE PARTS NEEDED. I CONTACTED NISSAN AND WAS TOLD THAT THE PARTS WOULD NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL FALL 2021, POSSIBLY IN OCTOBER. THEY SAID I SHOULD DRIVE IT "AT MY DISCRETION," AND THE SYMPTOMS COULD BE THAT THE BRAKE LIGHTS WON'T WORK, WHICH COULD CAUSE COLLISION OR THE CAR WON'T START. I CAN CALL THEM BACK IF THESE THINGS HAPPEN, BUT UNLESS OR UNTIL THEY DO, I SHOULD JUST DRIVE IT "AT MY DISCRETION." I LOVE MY CAR AND IT HAS LESS THAN 4,000 MILES ON IT. I AM NOW SKEPTICAL OF DRIVING IT. IT'S NOW MAY AND I HAVE TO WORRY UNTIL PROBABLY OCTOBER THAN MY BRAKE LIGHTS AREN'T WORKING OR THAT MY CAR WON'T START.

BOUGHT 2019 NISSAN SENTRA FOR OUR DAUGHTER. AS SHE WAS DRIVING ON THE 405 N AND HAD TO BRAKE ON THE FREEWAY DURING HIGH TRAFFIC TIME, THE WARNING MALFUNCTION LIGHT COMES ON AND 3 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER LIGHT COMES ON: AEB, FRONT COLLISION, AND WARNING LIGHT. TOOK IT TO NISSAN, THEY DIAGNOSE 2 CODES THAT COMES UP IN THE TSB, DTC C1A16 (RADAR BLOCKED) AND DTC C1A12 (LASER BEAM OFF-CENTER) STATING THAT IT IS A SAFETY ISSUE BUT I STILL HAD TO PAY DIAGNOSIS AND THE PART AND LABOR TO FIX IT.
