The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Frontier. The contact stated while driving 65 MPH, the hood inadvertently opened and slammed into the windshield and the roof of the vehicle. The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Frontier. The contact stated while driving 65 MPH, the hood inadvertently opened and slammed into the windshield and the roof of the vehicle. The contact was able to pull over and secure the hood via bungie cords. The vehicle was taken to a local mechanic and was awaiting repair. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 29,000.
