The gear stick gets stuck when trying to shift gears it wont move from Parking, headlights seem to not give enough lighting when on, I have replaced the transmission after 3years of having the vehicle, I still owe on the loan and the vehicle still shakes when driving over 80mph on the freeway. I dont currently have any warning lights on the vehicle. I have taken the vehicle many times for repairs for the same complaint that the vehicle shakes when driving it and the problem still has not been resolved. I already spent a lot of money on trying to fix the problems.

I was stuck in my car for 20 minutes at 100 degree heat before help arrived and was able to assist. There is not a manual unlock mechanism in the interior of the car that would have helped me. I even searched online for any way to let me exit the car with no electricity. If I had been farther away, my health would’ve been very compromised- I am just lucky I did not have a child with me. As a person with multiple health issues, this scenario has me absolutely terrified.

first, I started to notice my car would loose power while driving, over a couple months, it started to stall and/or completely shut off while driving at low speeds or at red lights! When this first stared happening, the car would immediately fire back up when cranked, after about a month of this, I noticed, I could not drive at or above 45mph or it would shut down, or drive for more than 15 minutes and it would shut off…AND NOT START AGAIN! It would crank, but not start, I would have to wait 30 minutes or more and then it would start right up! This is dangerous due to the immediate- no- warning shut off, whenever and wherever! I’ve almost caused multi car pile up! Not to mention my kids in the back seat and on the interstate! We could have been slammed into, and pushed down the interstate and over into other lanes! There’s a recall on 2002 Nissan Altimas for THIS VERY ISSUE!!! Somehow, my vehicles VIN # does not qualify! INFACT….. My VIN# NEVER EVER qualifies for ANY recall, but yet, my vehicle has the exact same problems!!

My back doors do not lock with the FOB. I have to manually unlock and lock my rear doors. My driver side door is starting to not work as well. This is a major safety issue that Nissan seems to not care about. My car only has 35,000 miles on it.

The car is less than 8 years old, but I was told it was not under warranty and there was no recall for that. I was told they had to replace two parts: 98820-9HN9ASensor-Side AIRBAG Center and 87650-9HP3ABack Assembly Front Seat, for a total cost of approximately $2400, but the parts were not available. The money was refunded to me three months later and the parts have not been replaced. I do not feel safe driving the car around; unfortunately it is the only car I have. The car is available for inspection upon request.

Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain model year 2013-2014 Altima, LEAF, Pathfinder, and Sentra, model year 2013 NV200 (aka Taxi) and Infiniti JX35 and model year 2014 Infiniti Q50 and QX60 vehicles. In the affected vehicles, the occupant classification system (OCS) software may incorrectly classify the passenger seat as empty, when it is occupied by an adult.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: If the OCS does not detect an adult occupant in the passenger seat, the passenger airbag would be deactivated. Failure of the passenger airbag to deploy during a crash (where deployment is warranted) could increase the risk of injury to the passenger.
Remedy: Nissan will notify owners, and dealers will update the OCS software, free of charge. The recall began on April 14, 2014. Owners may contact Nissan at 1-800-647-7261.
