ON CERTAIN VEHICLES, NO WINDOW RELEASE MECHANISMS OR REAR EMERGENCY EXITS WERE INSTALLED. THIS FAILS TO COMPLY WITH FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 217, "BUS WINDOW RETENTION AND RELEASE".
Consequence: Not supplied
Remedy: NEW WINDOWS EQUIPPED WITH RELEASE MECHANISMS, AND ROOF EXITS WILL BE INSTALLED.
