I had a bent right control arm, this was replaced in the dealership with out of pocket payment on February 12th 2024, same issue above reoccurred and the dealership is asking for the same sum to be paid out of pocket. The car inspected authorized dealer ship and they mentioned this is a very common issue on outlanders as the rotors, calipers, and breaks did not properly design for the wight of the car. It seems the manufactures and authorized dealer aware internally form the defect but do not take necessarily actions which may cause safety issue to owner of this make and model. If the dealership tells me the tire is fine nothing is wrong clearly something is wrong with this ONE tire.

The contact owns a 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander. The contact stated while driving approximately 40 MPH, the vehicle was unstable and drifting to the left and right. The contact stated that the failure was more evident at faster speeds and during inclement weather. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact had not taken the vehicle to a local dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 39,000.
Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (Mitsubishi) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Outlander and 2023-2025 Outlander PHEV vehicles. Due to a software error in the in-vehicle infotainment system (A-IVI), the rearview camera image may freeze, or not appear on the display. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A rearview image that does not display properly reduces the driver's view of what is behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will update the A-IVI software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 30, 2025. Mitsubishi's number for this recall is SR-25-001. This recall replaces and expands previous NHTSA recall number 23V345. Vehicles previously repaired under recall 23V345 will need to have the new remedy completed.
