WHILE THE CONTACT WAS DECELERATING TO APPROXIMATELY 20 MPH, THE TRAILER BEGAN SWAYING FROM LEFT TO RIGHT BEFORE FLIPPING AND CRASHING INTO THE REAR PASSENGER'S SIDE OF THE VEHICLE THAT WAS PULLING THE TRAILER. UPON INSPECTION OF THE TRAILER, THE CONTACT DISCOVERED THAT THE DRIVER'S SIDE WHEEL BEARING AND HUBCAP HAD BECOME DETACHED FROM THE VEHICLE, CAUSING THE TIRES TO BECOME FLAT. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN AUTO MECHANIC BUT WAS NOT INSPECTED FOR THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED WHO OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 300.
