TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 LEXUS NX 300H. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE HIS WIFE WAS DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 25 MPH, A TRUCK PASSED ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE OF THE VEHICLE AND THE DRIVER HEARD AN ABNORMAL SOUND WITH A WARNING MESSAGE WHICH STATED THAT THE DRIVER'S DOOR WAS AJAR. THE DRIVER PULLED OVER AND OPENED THEN CLOSED THE WINDOW. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO CLASSIC LEXUS LOCATED AT (2551 SOM CENTER RD, WILLOUGHBY HILLS, OH 44094) FOR A TEST DRIVE HOWEVER, NO FAILURE WAS DETERMINED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 7,400.

25V028000 · Fuel System, Gasoline:delivery:fuel Pump

Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2018 Camry, 2019 Lexus NX300, and 2019 RX350L vehicles. The low-pressure fuel pump inside the fuel tank may fail.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: Fuel pump failure can cause an engine stall, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the fuel pump assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 12, 2025. Owners may contact Toyota's customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's numbers for this recall are 25TA01 and 25LA01.
