This unit experienced frame flex or frame failure. This frame was constructed by Lippert and has failed causing broken welds, the body to shift and move causing visible stress cracks in the exterior of the body. This unit experienced frame flex or frame failure. This frame was constructed by Lippert and has failed causing broken welds, the body to shift and move causing visible stress cracks in the exterior of the body. The interior incident happened in December of 2022 and repairs were attempted in March 2023 only to happen again. This has resulted in the trailer being unsafe to tow and could cause bodily injury to my family and others on the road.

The contact owns a 2021 Keystone Montana. The contact stated while her husband was towing the RV at 60 MPH, a piece of the awning detached from the RV and was being dragged along the roadway. The driver was able to park on the side of the road to fully detach the awning piece completely. The contact took the RV to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed with needing the awning to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The VIN was not available.

There was a recall on a wiring harness underneath our slide, The mobile Tech that came out that supposedly fixed it did not did not they sliced open the underbelly and put it back together with duct tape. This is not safe to have and nobody is responding to fix it.

The contact owns a 2021 Ram 2500 used for hauling a 2021 Keystone Montana 295 RL. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V368000 (Equipment) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact was informed that the technician would be available in a month and a half to perform the recall repair. The RV was not repaired. The contact had not experienced a failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure however no further assistance was taken. Parts Distribution Disconnect.
Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Montana, 2021-2022 Montana High Country, 2022-2024 Fuzion, 2021 Crossroads Cruiser, and 2024 Dutchmen Aspen Trail LOFT vehicles. The LED backlight circuit board in the cooktop range may fail, causing the board to overheat.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A circuit board that overheats increases the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Dealers can remove the LED backlights or terminate the circuit for the red LED lights, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 2, 2024. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 24-452.
Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Raptor and 2021 Montana vehicles equipped with certain Sailun tires, size 235/80R16G. Due to a manufacturing issue, the tires may experience a belt separation.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: Belt separation could lead to loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect the tire DOT codes, and replace the tires as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 2, 2022. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 22-420.
