We have had 2 J & L trailers this past month the other has VIN [XXX] that after being in service for 12 to 14 months the ABS ECU needs to be replaced because the power plugs to the units become badly corroded. This causes about a $2000 repair bill to meet DOT regulations and have working ABS unit on semi trailer. I have attache…

We have had 2 J & L trailers this past month the other has VIN [XXX] that after being in service for 12 to 14 months the ABS ECU needs to be replaced because the power plugs to the units become badly corroded. This causes about a $2000 repair bill to meet DOT regulations and have working ABS unit on semi trailer. I have attached photos of the power cord ends from these 2 trailers.
