My passenger airbag light is on and when I reported it to Infiniti, they told me it was the airbag sensor in the seat and that the entire seat would need to be replaced for a cost of over $2000.00. I understand there was a previous recall for the previous years, but not for 2010 models. In speaking with other Infiniti owners, I understand this is a common issue with the G37. THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG LIGHT COMES, INDICATING THAT AIRBAG IS OFF, ON WHEN THERE IS A PASSENGER IN THE SEAT. I WENT TO THE DEALER TWO TIMES AND WAS TOLD THAT THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE FUNCTIONING OF THE AIRBAG SYSTEM. THIS ISSUE OCCURS WHEN MY WIFE (WHO WEIGHS 130 POUNDS) IS SITTING IN THE SEAT. WE WERE TOLD BY THE "MASTER TECHNICIAN" THAT SHE IS TOO SMALL OF A PERSON TO BEAR THE FORCE OF THE AIRBAG AND THAT IT WAS SAFER FOR HER WITHOUT THE AIRBAG. *TR
