The contact owns a 2025 Indian Super Chief Dark Horse Motorcycle. The contact stated that while operating the motorcycle and riding at various speeds, the motorcycle was pulling to the right. The contact added two 4-kilogram weights to the left saddle bag to assist with balancing the motorcycle; however, the failure persisted. The motorcycle was taken to the local dealer, and an alignment was performed. The contact was informed by the local dealer that the motorcycle would continue to drift to the right due to the design. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and confirmed the information about the design of the motorcycle. The failure mileage was 1,000.

25V108000 · Fuel System, Gasoline:delivery:fuel Pump

Indian Motorcycle Company (Indian) is recalling certain 2025 Challenger Dark Horse, Pursuit Limited, Roadmaster Elite and Springfield Dark Horse motorcycles. Due to an incorrectly crimped wire, the fuel pump may fail and result in an engine stall during operation.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: An engine stall increases the risk of a crash or injury.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the fuel pump, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 5, 2025. Owners may contact Indian customer service at 877-204-3697. Indian's number for this recall is I-25-01.
