THERE WAS A RECALL ON THE A/C CONDENSOR IN 1996. I HAD IT REPLACED BY THE DEALER AT N/C. THE LEAKING STARTED TO OCCUR AGAIN THIS SUMMER 1999. THE LEAKAGE ON THE FLOORS HAS CREATED AN ODOR IN THE CAR OF LIKE A MILDEW DUE TO THE HEAT. I AM UNABLE TO DRIVE THE CAR DUE TO THE SMELL. THE DEALER FROM WHICH I LEASED THE VEHICLE HAS CLOSED THE NEW DEALER THAT APPEARS ON MY STATEMENT IS- GRAND HONDA 300 WEST GRAND AVENUE ELMHURST, IL 60126-- (630)833-7700
FLOOR MAT DOESN'T STICK IN PLACE, AND IT GETS UNDER THROTTLE CLUTCH AND BRAKES. CONSUMER CONTACTED MANUFACTURER. *AK
AIR CONDITIONER COMPRESSOR BLEW OUT. THE DEALER HAS BEEN NOTIFIED. *AK
AIR CONDITIONING UNIT STARTED BLOWING HOT AIR LAST SUMMER (1998), WAITED TILL THIS SUMMER TO HAVE AIR CONDITIONING RECHARGED. WAS INFORMED BY DEALERSHIP (BEDARD BROS.) THAT THE CONDENSER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, AND SO DID OTHER COMPONENTS AT THE RATE OF $380 TOTAL. A/C UNIT IS THE NEW TYPE OF A/C WITHOUT FREON. *AK
BACK SEAT DESIGN DOES NOT ALLOW CHILD CAR SEAT TO BE PROPERLY INSTALLED, ESPECIALLY IN CENTER POSITION WHICH IS SAFEST SPOT. *AK
VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A FRONTAL COLLISION, AND AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. DRIVER SUSTAINED MINOR INJURIES. THE DEALER HAS BEEN NOTIFIED. *AK
BLOWS OUT WARM AIR, OCCASIONALLY WILL BLOW A FEW MINUTES OF COOL AIR AND THEN GO WARM AGAIN. HAVE TO TURN ON AND OFF TO GET THAT FEW MINUTES OF COOL AIR.

VEHICLE WAS SERVICED APPROXIMATELY 5 TIMES FOR THE SAME PROBLEM IN AUGUST, 97 AND COULD NOT FIND PROBLEM. IN SEPTEMBER, 97 DEALERSHIP TURNED THE ROTORS, AND IN APRIL, 98 ALL FOUR ROTORS AND FOUR SETS OF BRAKES WERE REPLACED, AND WHEEL ALIGNMENT DONE. IN APRIL, 99 ROTORS TURNED AGAIN. VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A HONDA SPECIALIST, TURNED ROTORS, REPLACED BRAKES AND VIBRATION HAD STOPPED. *AK
WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED IN DRIVEWAY FOR ABOUT 30-45 MINUTES, IT CAUGHT ON FIRE AND BURNED UP. OWNER NOT SURE WHAT STARTED THE FIRE. FIRE WAS PUT OUT BY FIRE DEPARTMENT. ALSO DRIVER'S SEAT BELT FAILED TO RETRACT. *AK
