The failure mileage was approximately 2,000.

The contact stated that while operating the vehicle, a tinging and clicking sound was coming from the steering column while turning the steering wheel in either direction. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, who replaced the steering gear spring and steering sensor, and the vehicle was repaired. The contact was informed that the vehicle was not included in the NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V744000 (STEERING). The contact stated that the vehicle had experienced the failure listed in the recall. The failure mileage was 1,400.
