This poses a safety hazard for anyone driving behind a GV60 and unfortunately this issue seems to be very widespread (examples: [XXX] ). Genesis refused to fix the issue for me despite being under warranty, so I suspect they are doing the same for other owners despite the safety risk. Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2023-2025 Genesis GV60 electric vehicles. The stainless-steel molding at the top of the windshield assembly may detach.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: Detached molding can create a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the windshield molding, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed beginning October 30, 2025. Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain Genesis 2023-2025 G90 and GV60 vehicles. Due to a software error, the instrument panel display may fail. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 101, "Controls and Displays."
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: An instrument panel display that fails to show critical safety information, such as the speedometer or warning lights, increases the risk of a crash.

The automatic locking retractor for the front passenger-side seat belt may prohibit the seat belt from fastening and/or extending properly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 208, "Occupant Crash Protection" and 209, "Seat Belt Assemblies."
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A seat belt that fails to fasten or extend properly may not adequately restrain an occupant in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
