TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 CRUISER RV LLC FUN FINDER X240 TRAILER. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH, THE BRAKE CONTROLLER INDICATED THERE WAS BRAKE FAILURE. THE CONTACT TOOK HIS VEHICLE HOME. WHEN HE INSPECTED THE VEHICLE, HE NOTICED THAT THE ELECTRICAL BRAKE SYSTEM WAS WIRED INCORRECTLY, WHICH CAUSED THE RIGHT BRAKE SHOES…

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 CRUISER RV LLC FUN FINDER X240 TRAILER. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH, THE BRAKE CONTROLLER INDICATED THERE WAS BRAKE FAILURE. THE CONTACT TOOK HIS VEHICLE HOME. WHEN HE INSPECTED THE VEHICLE, HE NOTICED THAT THE ELECTRICAL BRAKE SYSTEM WAS WIRED INCORRECTLY, WHICH CAUSED THE RIGHT BRAKE SHOES TO CUT INTO THE ELECTRICAL BRAKE SYSTEM. HE HAS NOT MADE ANY REPAIRS TO THE VEHICLE, BUT HAS PICTURES OF THE RIGHT BRAKES PADS THAT FAILED IN COMPARISON TO THE LEFT SIDE. THIS WAS THE FIRST AND ONLY TIME THE VEHICLE WAS OPERATED. THE DEALER HAS NOT BEEN NOTIFIED. THE POWERTRAIN, ENGINE SIZE, AND NUMBER OF CYLINDERS WERE UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 132. UPDATED 01/03/08 *LJ THE CONSUMER STATED THESE ARE SOME OF THE PROBLEMS THEY HAD TO ENDURE WITH THE TRAILER: INCOMPLETE ASSEMBLY ON EXTERIOR, LIGHTS FALLING OFF THE CEILING, BLACK WATER TANK FELL APART, MICROWAVE MOUNTING SCREWS NOT IN WOOD, THERMOSTAT INOPERABLE, WATER HEATER INOPERABLE, GFI WIRES FELL OUT, SHOWER VENT FALLING, VARIOUS WOOD TRIMMING FALLING OFF, INTERIOR SUBFLOOR NOT SEALED, LOOSE LUGS ON VOLTAGE.
