INITIALLY IT FELT AS THOUGH A TIRE WAS OUT OF BALANCE, LATER IN THE TRIP THE TIRE BEGAN THUMPING AS IF IT WERE SQUARE. INSPECTING THE TIRE I FOUND THAT THE TREAD WAS TWISTING OUT OF SHAPE AND THAT CHUNKS OF RUBBER HAD COME OFF OF THE TIRE.*AK
