2023 Ford F-150

Ford has failed to complete the pending recall after 6 months. Ford states on their app and the letter they sent that they have a remedy and theparts to complete the safety recall. However, when you actually talk to someone at Ford or the dealer they have no parts and can not give an eta of when they will have parts. The dealer, Group 1 Ford of Pensacola, has advised in December that they had 125 recall kits in transit and they would notify me when they arrived. I can not get anyone at the dealer to return calls, emails, or text concerning a time line for repair.

re: Safety Recall 25S82/NHTSA Recall 25V512. I received this recall notice in August, 2025. Never received any more info. I contacted the Ford dealer here on February 2, 2026. I was told the axle parts are still not available and it will be 6-8 more months which makes the total response time 11-13 months. I was put on a waiting list. In the meantime my pickup axle could fail causing a crash as outlined in the recall notice. Ford is not taking the recall serious. Please look into this situation as Ford is failing to do followup communication with the vehicle owners. My pickup rear axle is clicking and popping and rolls when in Park until the Parking Brake is applied. All symptoms as stated in the recall. Safety Manufacturer Recall Number 25S82 was issued 8/11/2025, with no ETA on when parts will be available for fix. It's been almost 6 months with the same status, and my dealership telling me they are 41,000 place in line to receive the parts when they are available. People are making monthly payments on these newer vehicles and chose to do so with it in mind that newer vehicles will be safer and more reliable, especially with recalls covered under warranty and should be fixed in a timely manner. With the number of vehicles this recall affects, it's understandable that some time is expected for the repair to be completed, but people are left with this broken part and no loaner vehicle to drive and no time frame when parts are expected to be available, affecting job security and livelihoods.

I experience a failure related to Manufacturer Recall Number23S65 NHTSA Recall Number23V896 Recall Status Recall Incomplete I had this recall completed 7/29/25 at Faricy Boys Ford in Salida, CO On 01/13/2026 this repair/parts failed while I was traveling. I had to have my truck towed to Phil Long Ford in Raton, NM for repair. I was told this was a result of the recall and it would be covered . However, they still cannot give me an eta for parts and repair. They also do not have rentals or loaners and there are no car rentals in Raton, NM. Neither the dealership or Ford Customer Service have authorized a rental for me yet. I am a full time RV'er with my travel trailer parked in Las Cruces, NM for the winter. I returned here 1/14 by renting a Uhaul van which was ridiculously expensive and have been here in Las Cruces since then, with no means of transportation. The dealership initially told me the last one of these recalls took 5 weeks for parts. When the parts fail the rear axle disengages from the drive line. You cannot move, and in park the truck rolls. This recall has been going for a couple of years and there are no replacement parts available. I will need transportation to move my trailer to a new job in Colorado before the end of April. Complete electrical shut down driving on the highway on two separate occasions. While driving engine shuts off, dash board goes black, infotainment center goes black. Required to shift vehicle into park to restart after occurrence. Huge safety risk! When taken to Ford service; unable to find any issues and was told “vehicle is safe to drive”

Complaint Description The vehicle is equipped with a Ford 10R80 10-speed automatic transmission that exhibits erratic and unpredictable shifting behavior. The transmission frequently hesitates, shifts harshly, or delays engagement, particularly when accelerating from a stop, slowing down, or attempting to merge into traffic. At times, the vehicle fails to deliver power when the accelerator is pressed, creating a delay in acceleration. This is especially dangerous when pulling into intersections, making left turns across traffic, or merging onto roadways where immediate and predictable power is required to avoid collisions. The transmission also downshifts harshly and unexpectedly, causing sudden jerking and brief deceleration. These events can occur without warning and increase the risk of loss of vehicle control or rear-end collisions, particularly in stop-and-go traffic or at low speeds. In addition, the transmission often clunks or lurches into gear, including when shifting from park to drive or reverse. This creates unsafe conditions in parking lots and low-speed environments where precise vehicle control is necessary to avoid pedestrians or other vehicles. Because these issues occur inconsistently and without warning, the driver cannot reliably anticipate vehicle response. This unpredictability represents a safety defect that increases the risk of a crash during normal driving conditions.

The contact stated that upon taking the vehicle to the dealer to be repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V896000 (Power Train); the service report stated that the recall repair was completed; however, the contact continued to receive more recall notifications for the same recall. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, who confirmed that the recall repair was not completed. The vehicle remained with the dealer for 16 days, and the dealer later informed the contact that the recall part was not available. The contact was referred to the manufacturer for assistance in obtaining the part for the recall repair. The contact picked up the vehicle from the dealer. The contact stated that there was an abnormal clicking sound coming from the rear of the vehicle while driving. Additionally, the front driver's side seat cushion was loose and could be raised up. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was unreachable. The failure mileage was approximately 17,000.
