THEY GOT TO IT ON TUESDAY, AND TOLD ME NO ERROR CODES WERE AVAILABLE, THEREFORE THEY COULD NOT DO ANYTHING. THEY DROVE A 38 MILE TEST WITH NO ISSUES. SINCE THE THROTTLE BODY PROBLEM IS WELL DOCUMENTED ON 3.5L ENGINES I BELIEVE THIS IS A MATTER OF DEALER NOT BEING ABLE TO GET PAID FROM FORD RATHER THAN NOT BEING ABLE TO FIX THE PROBLEM. 60K EMISSION WARRANTY APPLIES VEHICLE MILEAGE 53K. REPORTED TO FORD CUSTOMER COMPLAINT DEPT(INDIA) AND I HAVE A CASE #. THERE HAS BEEN NO RECALL BUT THERE ARE A LOT OF CASES REPORTED ON LINE ON THIS ISSUE. I BELIEVE IT IS A DANGEROUS CONDITON THAT SHOULD BE TAKEN CARE OF BY FORD IMMEDIATELY. Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A rearview camera that displays an inverted, distorted, or blank image can reduce the driver’s view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the rearview camera as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 13, 2026.
