92 reportsRear camera blurry and unable to view. One has to get out and open and close the rear liftgate in order for the camera to work correctly. This may have to be done a number of times before camera is returned to normal operation. Dealer stated it may take $1000.00 dollars to repair.

Took vehicle in for recall work of replacing the HVAC Front Blower Motor Assembly. Vehicle was returned and blower motor stopped working 3 days later. Now being told that the fan blower motor controller and connector have to be replaced becasue they have gone bad and that it is not covered under the current recall. There should be no reason that those parts aren't covered under the recall. if the blower motor hadn't overheated, then the controller and conector should not have been damaged. A quick google search over complaints for this same issue lets me know that other people have had the exact same issue. Ford said to file the complaint with you.

The contact owns a 2017 Ford Expedition. The contact stated while attempting to start the vehicle, the vehicle failed to start. Roadside Assistance was contacted. The technician connected the battery cables and jumpstarted the vehicle. The vehicle was started, and the vehicle was driven to the residence. The contact later replaced the battery. The contact stated that the failure reoccurred. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed with parasitic battery drain due to a failed gear shifter. The contact was informed that the gear shifter needed to be replaced. The vehicle was being repaired. The contact was informed that parts had been ordered for the repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000.

2024 Front A/C blower cutting in and out without warning. Called Dealership and had Fords recall #22S56, item affected: electrical system, wiring, interior/ under dash. This involved the front A/C blower failing. Only thing replaced during Mobile visit then was the blower motor. Now March 2025 had the same issue again with front A/C blower cutting off/on without warning. Called same Dealership again and was told I had to bring the vehicle in to have diagnostic check to further check the Recall issue. After diagnostic completed, was informed that the blower motor resistor and the connector were melted. Had the repairs completed same day at $802.74.
While reversing the camera went black. And since then the back up camera does not come back on. It says “camera not available”

The contact owns a 2017 Ford Expedition. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, there was an abnormal sparking sound coming from the engine compartment, after which there was an abnormal burning odor inside the vehicle. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed a failure with the blower motor wiring harness. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V648000 (Visibility, Electrical System); and the VIN was included, parts were available; however, the contact was informed that the wiring harness was not included in the recall repair. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 97,000.
I can be driving up a hill the traction control warning light and hill decent braking light come on causing the vehicle speed to drop the vehicle shakes acting like it is trying to stop. Transmission unable to shift out of park periodically, transmission downshifting at highway speeds and engine shutting down. Speedometer and RPM guage going crazy then no longer working.
Electrical wiring for the blower motor replaced as a result of Safety Recall 22S56.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2015-2019 Lincoln MKC, Mustang, F-350 SD, F-250 SD, F-450 SD, 2015-2017 Lincoln Navigator, Expedition, 2015-2018 Edge, Transit Connect, 2016-2019 F-550 SD, Transit, 2017-2019 Econoline, and 2019 Ranger vehicles. The rearview camera may display a distorted, inverted, or blank image when the vehicle is in reverse.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A rearview camera that displays an inverted, distorted, or blank image can reduce the driver’s view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the rearview camera as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 13, 2026. Ford owners will receive letters in phases, beginning January 2026 and June 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25S89. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2017-2018 F-150, Expedition, and Lincoln Navigator vehicles. The brake master cylinder may allow brake fluid to leak from the front wheel circuit into the brake booster.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A brake fluid leak can cause reduced brake function and extend the distance required to stop, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the brake master cylinder. If the master cylinder is leaking, the brake booster will also be replaced. Repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 25, 2025. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25S37. Consequence: A loss of brake fluid may result in a change in brake pedal travel, increased pedal effort and reduced front brake function, requiring greater effort and distance to stop the vehicle. These conditions can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the brake master cylinder. If the master cylinder is leaking, the brake booster will also be replaced. Repairs will be performed free of charge.
