Car was towed to shop and diagnosed as master cylinder failure with brake fluid in booster. The parts were replaced and problem was solved. There is approx. 51000 miles on vehicle. Fortunately, this occurred at low speed in a church parking lot. I can't imagine what would have happened on the hiway at speed! Defective parts are available for inspection.
