DOOR AJAR LIGHT CONTINUALLY WENT ON AND OFF WHILE IN MOTION WHETHER ON A HIGHWAY OR CITY STREET. NOTICED IT ALSO WENT ON DURING LEFT TURNS. DOOR LOCKS ON ALL DOORS WOULD CLICK ON AND OFF AT STOPS. I WASN'T SURE THAT DOORS WERE LOCKED WITH MY CHILDREN IN THE CAR. INTERNAL LIGHTS WOULD ALSO GO ON AN OFF. COMMON ISSUE ON THE INTERNET WITH FORD EDGES. IT'S ALL OVER AND FOR YEARS. I HAVE YOUNG CHILDREN AND HAD TO GET THE ISSUE FIXED AT A COST OF $542.83. I BELIEVE FORD NEEDS TO PAY FOR THIS SAFETY ISSUE. THE PART NUMBER TO REPLACE WAS THE LATCH PART NUMBER 8T4Z 78264A27 A. SO A NEW DOOR LATCH NEEDED TO BE INSTALLED ALONG WITH THE REPAIR OF A WIRE IN THE DOOR HARNESS NEAR THE LH SIDE OF THE DOOR SPEAKER. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER OF THIS VEHICLE.
