WHILE DRIVING NOTICED SMOKE COMING OUT OF THE RIGHT HAND DASH. TURNED THE ENGINE OFF AND ON THE PASSENGER'S SIDE THERE WERE FLAMES OVER THE WINDSHIELD. *AK
DRIVER'S SEAT SUPPORT ASSEMBLY SNAPPED APART, CAUSING THAT SIDE OF SEAT TO JERK BACKWARDS.

DRIVER'S AND PASSENGER'S SEATS ARE LOCKED IN THE ADJUST POSITION, CAUSING OTHER OCCUPANTS TO CLIMBING OVER THE SEATS TO GET IN OR OUT OF THE VEHICLE.*AK
WHILE DRIVING, VEHICLE WOULD JUMP OUT OF THIRD GEAR, WOULD NOT RETURN BACK TO THIRD, LOST THIRD GEAR AND OVERDRIVE, HARD TO SHIFT INTO GEAR. *AK

THE IGNITION SWITCH COULD EXPERIENCE AN INTERNAL SHORT CIRCUIT.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: THIS CONDITION COULD CAUSE OVERHEATING, SMOKE, AND POSSIBLY FIRE IN THE STEERING COLUMN AREA OF THE VEHICLE.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE IGNITION SWITCH.
