VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: FLAT BED, MODEL 898465B 3-WHEEL ON-ROAD VEHICLES. A HUB WASHER WAS IMPROPERLY MANUFACTURED AND COULD DEFORM WHEN THE HARDWARE SECURING THE HUB IS TIGHTENED.
Consequence: THIS COULD ALLOW THE AXLE NUT TO LOOSEN, RESULTING IN OIL LEAKING OUT OF THE SPLINES OF THE AXLE AND/OR AXLE FAILURE.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE HUB WASHER.
