TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1994 CHEVROLET Z71 EXTENDED CAB. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH, THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS FAILED TO OPERATE AFTER BEING TURNED ON. HE TAPPED THE CIRCUIT BREAKER AND WIPERS BEGAN TO WORK. THE CONTACT HAD NEITHER TAKEN THE VEHICLE TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALERSHIP NOR CALLED THE MANUFACTURER AT THE TIME OF THE COMPLAINT. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 27,000. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 29,000.
