I WAS DRIVING MY 2017 CHEVY TRAVERSE WITH ONLY 12000 MILES ON IT WHEN A LIGHT CAME ON FOR "TRACTION CONTROL " WITHIN 3 SECONDS I LOST ALL POWER. THANK GOD I WAS NOT ON AN EXPRESSWAY AT THE TIME. I HAD TO GET MY BRAND NEW CAR TOWED AND THEY SAID A FUSE BLEW AND THEY REPLACED THAT. THEN ANOTHER LIGHT CAME ON AND THEY HAD TO REPLACE THE MODULE. I WAS WITHOUT A CAR FOR 3 DAYS! THIS COULD HAVE BEEN FATAL HAD I BEEN ON A BUSY ROAD OR EXPRESSWAY. I WILL BE GETTING RID OF THIS CAR ASAP AND DO NOT EVEN FEEL SAFE DRIVING IT TO THE DEALER TO TRADE IT IN! I'VE RECENTLY LEARNED THIS IS A BIG PROBLEM IN GM CARS AND IT'S VERY DANGEROUS! SHAME ON GM THEY NEED TO GET THIS PROBLEM FIXED BEFORE SOMEBODY GETS KILLED.

FIRST PROBLEM IS THAT THE FUEL GUAGE FLUCTUATES. SECOND AND MOST FRIGHTENING, WHILE I WAS DRINKING ON WED. THE 19TH OF JULY WITH MY SON, MY TRAVERSE COMPLETELY SHUT OFF. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER THAT NIGHT, GOT IT BACK THE FOLLOWING MONDAY AND WAS TOLD THAT THE PROBLEM COULDN'T BE DUPLICATED. I'M GUESSING THIS IS THE STANDARD ANSWER TO THESE PROBLEMS. IT'S NOT ACCEPTABLE TO ME I THAT I KNOW THAT THIS HAS BEEN A PREVIOUS ISSUE WITH THIS VEHICLE. I AM ALSO FRIGHTENINGLY AWARE THAT THERE HAVE BEEN DEATHS CAUSED BY THIS. I AM STILL DRIVING THE VEHICLE TRUSTING THAT GM STAND BEHIND THEIR VEHICLES AS WELL AS THEY TECHNICIANS. PLEASE, PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEM!! I AM AWARE OF THE PREVIOUS RECALLS ON EARLIER TRAVERSES AND I WANT IT TO BE KNOWN THAT THIS ISSUE IS IN FACT STILL AN ISSUE. A VERY SERIOUS ISSUE!!!
