I READ IN THE MANUAL FOR MY 05 TRAILBLAZER THAT I BOUGHT 3 DAYS AGO THAT THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO LOCK IF THE KEYS WERE IN THE IGNITION. TODAY I WAS MAKING A TRIP TO MY STORAGE UNIT AND DECIDED TO LEAVE THE CAR RUNNING SINCE MY 4 MONTH OLD SON WAS INSIDE AND IT WAS A WARM DAY. MY DOORS AUTOMATICALLY UNLOCK WHEN I PUT IT INTO PARK, AND I GOT OUT, WALKED AROUND THE CAR TO OPEN MY SONS DOOR SO I COULD HEAR HIM. THE DOORS WERE ALL LOCKED! I DON'T KNOW HOW THEY LOCKED THEMSELVES, BUT NOT EVEN THE DRIVERS DOOR THAT ISN'T SUPPOSED TO BE ABLE TO LOCK WITH THE KEYS IN THE IGNITION, WAS OPEN! SO MY CELL PHONE AND INFANT WERE BOTH LOCKED IN MY CAR WITH IT RUNNING AND MY BABY CRYING. I HAD TO SIT THERE AND WATCH HIM CRY THROUGH THE WINDOW, BECAUSE I WAS STUPID ENOUGH TO BELIEVE THE MANUAL WHEN IT SAID THE DOORS COULDN'T LOCK. THANKFULLY MY DAD LIVES CLOSE BY AND I WAS ABLE TO BORROW A CELL PHONE AND HAVE HIM GO AND GET THE KEYS FROM MY HUSBAND AT WORK. HAD THE CAR BEEN OFF HE COULD HAVE BEEN EXTREMELY HOT BY THE TIME I GOT THE DOORS UNLOCKED AND GOT HIM OUT. *TR

THE LIFT GATE ON MY VEHICLE WOULD NOT LIFT ALL THE WAY IN LATE IN 2005 AND WOULD ONLY LIFT UP TO 1/4 OF ITS ACTUAL OPENING. WHILE ON THE INTERSTATE RECENTLY, IT COMPLETELY FELL OFF FLYING INTO TRAFFIC. *JB
