THE DRIVER'S SEATBELT APPEARS TO BE FASTENED BUT WILL UNLATCH WITHOUT REASON AND AT ANY TIME. THIS HAS HAPPENED NUMEROUS TIMES WHILE DRIVING. *TR

Seat Belts complaints
10 reportsDRIVER'S SIDE SEAT BELT RETRACTOR HOUSING HAS PLASTIC OPENING. FRICTION FROM SEAT BELT MOTION HAS CAUSED THE BELT TO WEAR THROUGH THE OPENING'S EDGE AND CUT A SLOT INTO THE HOUSING, AND THE BELT ITSELF HAS BECOME FRAYED AND CATCHES IN THE OPENING. CONTACT ME FOR A DIGITAL PHOTO OF BELT AND HOUSING. *JB
FRONT/REAR SEAT BELT RETRACTOR ARE PLASTIC. THIS CAUSES THE PLASTIC RETRACTOR CASING TO SPLIT, CUTTING INTO THE SEAT BELTS WHEN PULLING BACK AND FORTH. THE DEALERSHIP WAS NOTIFIED, BUT DID NOT RESOLVE THE PROBLEM. *AK
THE PASSENGER SIDE SEAT BELT HAD TO BE REPLACED. THE BELT WAS BEING REPLACED BECAUSE IT WOULD NOT COME OUT FROM THE BOTTOM MECHANISM. MY MECHANIC TOLD ME THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH CHEVYS. *TT
CONSUMER STATED THAT THERE IS A PLASTIC PIECE THAT IS CUTTING INTO THE REAR SEAT BELT. DEALER NOTIFIED. TS
FRONT LAP BELT ON PASSENGER SIDE TIGHTENS ON PASSENGER SO MUCH THAT YOU HAVE TO REMOVE BELT EVERY NOW AND THEN AND REBUCKLE TO RELIEVE THE TENSION. CHEVY DEALER ORDERED 2 DIFFERENT BELTS, THEN SAID IT IS DESIGNED THAT WAY AND CHARGED US $141 AND WE STILL HAVE THE VERY SAME PROBLEM. DEALER IS NOT ABLE TO FIX PROBLEM.*AK
PASSENGER SEAT BELT WOULD TWIST, MAKING IT UNABLE TO ADVANCE.
FRONT LAP BELT ON PASSENGER'S SIDE TIGHTENS ON PASSENGER SO MUCH THAT SEATBELT HAS TO BE TAKEN OFF. DEALER IS NOT ABLE TO FIX IT. *AK
SEATBELT FAILED.
THIRD DOOR IS NOT SOLID AND CREAKING/POOPING EVERY DAY. ALSO, DRIVER'S SIDE PLASTIC HOUSING WHERE THE SEAT BELT ADJUSTER IS BOLTED INTO, MAKES EXCESSIVE NOISE WHEN GOING OVER BUMPS IN THE ROAD.
