TL *THE CONTACT OWNS A 1998 CHEVROLET K1500 EQUIPPED WITH AN AFTERMARKET MAC NEIL (NA) SIDE WINDOW DEFLECTOR (RAINGUARD), PART 80019. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DEFLECTOR DID NOT GLUE ONTO THE VEHICLE. THE DEFLECTOR WAS WEDGED INTO THE WINDOW MOLDING. THE CONTACT STATED THAT A TOTAL OF FOUR DEFLECTORS FELL OFF OF THE VEHICLE; THE LATEST OCCURRED WHILE HE WAS DRIVING 50 MPH ON THE HIGHWAY AND ALMOST CAUSED AN ACCIDENT. THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER WHO OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 110,000. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 100,000.
