SEAT BELTS ON BOTH FRONT SEATS ARE POORLY PLACED AND CAUSE THE SEAT BELT TO LAY ACROSS THE NECK OF THE DRIVER AND FRONT SEAT PASSENGER. THIS HAS ALSO CAUSED EXCESSIVE WEAR ON THE BELTS TO THE POINT OF BEING FRAYED. IN AN ACCIDENT, IT APPEARS THAT SEVERE NECK INJURY WOULD OCCUR DUE TO THEIR PLACEMENT. THIS IS A MARK III CONVERSIO…

THE CONSUMER HAS BEEN EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. VEHICLE BOUNCES AND SWAYS SIDE TO SIDE DURING ANY SPEED. IN ADDITION THE SEAT BELTS AREN'T LONG ENOUGH TO SECURE THEIR DRIVER. ALSO, THE FUSES IN THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM STARTED FAILING.*AK

THE FRONT DRIVER AND PASSENGER SEAT BACK HEIGHT DOES NOT CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF FMVSS NO. 202, "HEAD RESTRAINTS."

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: CONSEQUENCE OF NON-COMPLIANCE: SEAT OCCUPANTS ARE SUBJECT TO INCREASED RISK OF INJURY IN THE EVENT OF A SUDD STOP OR ACCIDENT.

Remedy: SHERRY DESIGNS WILL PROVIDE AN ATTACHABLE HEADREST FOR THE DEALER OR CUSTOMER TO ADD TO THE SEATS.

92V127000 · Service Brakes, Hydraulic:power Assist

THE BRAKE PEDAL ASSEMBLY HAS A PUSHROD PIN THAT IS TOO SMALL AND IT IS INSTALLED IN THE WRONG POSITION, CAUSING AN INCREASED BRAKE PEDAL RATIO AND A DECREASED MASTER CYLINDER STROKE.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: THE REDUCED MASTER CYLINDER STROKE RESULTS IN FAILURE TOMEET THE PARTIAL SYSTEM FAILURE REQUIREMENTS OF FMVSS 105, "HYDRAULIC BRAKESYSTEMS". A FURTHER REDUCTION IN BRAKING ABILITY AT A TIME WHEN PARTIAL SYSTEMFAILURE HAS OCCURRED COULD RESULT IN A VEHICLE CRASH.

Remedy: REPLACE THE BRAKE ASSEMBLY.
