TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 CHEVROLET CAMARO EQUIPPED WITH GOODYEAR EAGLE SPORT (NA) TIRES, SIZE: 245/45/R17. WHILE DRIVING AT 60 MPH, THE CONTACT FELT A VIBRATION COMING FROM THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE TIRE AND THE TIRE BLEW OUT. UPON FURTHER INSPECTION, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE THREADS SEPARATED FROM THE TIRE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE TIRE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE TIRE WAS REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 173,000 AND THE TIRE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 17,000. THE DOT NUMBER WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
