VEHICLE IS STILL UNDER RUST WARRANTY BUT GENERAL MOTORS WILL NOT HONOR RUST THROUGH WARRANTY. SEVERE RUST BEGAN WHEN VEHICLE WAS APPROX 2 YEARS OLD. WHILE HAVING ALL SUPPLIES FOR POLICE FIREARMS TRAINING LOCK IN THE BACK OF MY 2004 AVALANCHE THE TAILGATE WOULD NOT UNLOCK, DEALER NEED TO REPLACE UNIT, SAME THING HAPPENED THE VERY NEXT DAY AT THE RANGE. RETURNED TO DEALER AND THIS TIME I WAS TOLD THEY WERE USING BAD SPRINGS. *TR
