The contact then stated that the motorcycle abruptly slow down as an unknown warning message appeared on the instrument panel. The contact stated that the edge of a vehicle may have possibly entered his lane prior which may have triggered the abrupt slow down; however, the contact was uncertain if that were the case. A fellow motorist alerted to the contact after the failure that the brake lights did not appear when the vehicle made an abrupt slowdown. The contact activated his SOS warning lights to alert the authorities that he was in need of assistance. The police arrived at the scene where they placed orange cones around the motorcycle as the motorcycle was later towed to the contact's home.
